If you noticed that overriding the vendor's lead time does not change the lead time on the items tab, that happens because it only changes the lead time in the vendor tab.
This means that changing the vendor lead time days will only impact the lead time analysis on time measurement.
To make sure that the system lead time reflects the measured lead time, it should be changed through: settings > data management > vendors and change the lead time on the vendor:
