What is Committed Demand in AGR?

Updated this week

Committed demand refers to the quantity of component items that have been allocated or reserved to fulfill planned or confirmed parent-level production or assembly orders, even though the final product (the parent item) has not yet been completed or delivered.

In practical terms, it's the demand on child components that results from upstream work orders, production orders, or assembly plans that have been committed to execution.

If Committed Demand is mapped in from your ERP, it will appear as a purple data series in the Item Chart of BOM components:

Both Committed Demand and BOM Demand are included in the calculation of Total Demand for an item. They're separate data series and represent different demand streams.

Additional mapping in also necessary for the BOM parent to show Production/Assembly orders, which will be included in the Undelivered Data Series.
