This months release adds efficiency to the order process through custom column order constraints and order multiple threshold setting option

Updated this week

New features or improvements

The custom column constraining enables bespoke needs to be met in a standard way. While the order multiple threshold setting can save valuable time and accuracy to the order calculations, with this months release the setting can be finetuned.

Custom columns available in the Order Constrainer

Users can now constrain their orders by numeric custom columns, such as int, decimal, currency.

If you see an opportunity to constrain your orders to a given custom column pre-requisites, contact your customer success manager and we'll enable the feature for your setup.

Note that this currently does not work with split-by constraints, but works as expected with regular constraints.

Custom columns that are constrainable are also shown in the order grid as a factor of the order quantity (in order to be constrainable)

Order multiple threshold setting options

When users order they may utilize a rounding factor called order multiple, such as 10 in a box.

The default behavior in the order calculation is to take the calculated order need and always round up to the next order multiple.

For large order multiples this behavior can result in overstock and therefore we have the order logic setting: "order multiple threshold" that enables the order need to meet at least a certain percentage before rounding up, else it rounds down. However, this threshold option can result in a stock out, in the case where an item doesn't have demand high enough to reach the threshold, and might be out of stock or about to go out of stock.

Here is where the additional setting behavior comes in.

For users who would like to use the threshold percentage for deciding when to round the order qty up, while still always at least ordering one order multiple when items have low demand but should never be out of stock. They can now navigate to settings > Orders and choose which type of order multiple threshold behavior is best suited for their inventory optimization.

Server side grid (beta feature)

The server side grid improves the way AGR displays data in Reports and Items, ensuring faster loading and better performance for larger datasets.

For early adapters, opt in by enabling the beta feature, users will notice an updated column and filter picker through the view settings.

Note: a browser refresh is required to apply the changes, after enabling the beta feature

To enable the server side grid beta feature, navigate to the cogwheel button > Beta Features > toggle on Enhanced report grid rendering

Other fixes and improvements
