Legacy Sales Import

Updated over a month ago

Overview

This article will guide you on how to import legacy sales data into AGR.

AGR supports importing historical sales data, ensuring that valuable past sales information is not lost when transitioning from previous systems. Having this data available will allow sales forecasts to be more accurate.

To successfully import legacy sales into AGR, the data must follow a specific format, which is detailed below.

Data Format

  • File type: .csv (semicolon-separated values)

  • Column order: The file should contain exactly six columns, in the following order:

  1. ITEM_NO: The item number, which must correspond to the item number in AGR, as sourced from the ERP system mapped to AGR.

  2. LOCATION_NO: The location code, which must match the location number in AGR, as sourced from the ERP system mapped to AGR.

  3. DATE: The date of the sale, in the format YYYY-MM-DD.

  4. CUSTOMER_NO: Sales order customer number (if applicable)

  5. REFERENCE_NO: Sales order reference number (if applicable)

  6. SALE: The quantity of units sold, recorded in the base unit of measure.

All records should have a value. NULL or empty values are not accepted, except for customer_no and reference_no columns.

Once the data has been exported and conforms to the format specified above, email your Customer Success Manager and/or Integration Engineer at AGR to request the legacy sales import.
