Does AGR adjust transfer orders when no stock is available in the warehouse?
Updated this week

When creating transfer orders between internal locations in AGR, you may sometimes see suggested order quantities that exceed the available stock in your warehouse.

There are 2 main use cases for that to happen:

  1. Multiple orders have the same item and combined item demand is greater than the warehouse stock

  2. One order line has item demand that is greater than the warehouse stock

In such cases, an order exception labeled “No available stock” will be triggered, indicating insufficient stock to fulfill the transfer order.

By default, AGR will display the order exception but will not automatically adjust the quantities on the affected order lines.

If you prefer that AGR automatically adjust the order quantity to zero when there is no stock available, you can activate this setting. Here’s how:

  1. Go to Settings > Orders.

  2. Activate the option for automatic quantity adjustments when stock is unavailable.

Then, the affected order lines will look like this:

By enabling this feature, AGR can automatically align order proposals with real-time stock availability, saving you the time and effort of manually adjusting quantities.
