Overview
AGR supports two types of locations - AGR locations and Secondary locations.
Location types and transfer routes are defined during the Location setup process, which is located under the gearwheel in the toolbar.
Add locations
You can add or remove both AGR and secondary locations. An AGR location can have any number of secondary locations.
You can also include or exclude stock from secondary locations in the parent AGR location.
AGR does not treat orders, stock amounts, and demand from the different locations in the same way.
AGR/Primary locations
AGR locations can be thought of as the primary locations for warehousing your items.
Demand forecast
AGR can calculate the demand for each AGR location. In this case, the demand for an item will be shown by AGR location which can be aggregated to the total demand for that item at all AGR locations.
If you select an AGR location as the primary supplier for an item, however, demand from any other locations will be included in the primary supplier's demand.
Secondary locations
AGR treats secondary locations as subsidiaries of AGR locations. These can include
warehouse sections
overflow storage
defects storage
returns storage
You can choose whether to include stock from secondary locations in the AGR location by toggling the Include stock in AGR location switch on and off.
Sales from the secondary location are always included in the AGR location.
Including stock from a secondary location will add:
stock levels
transfer orders
undelivered
to the AGR location.
