October 2026 - Release News

What's New in AGR

This month's releases bring smarter order planning, richer visibility into your sales channels, and more of your AGR data within reach of your AI tools. You can now cover demand until the next expected delivery, add comments directly to your plans, explore demand by channel on the Item Card, and give your AI assistants deeper insight into archived orders, connected items, and distribution demand.

We've also made Sales Plans faster, improved navigation and filtering, extended the Public API, and delivered several fixes to make your everyday workflows smoother.

📦 Orders and Replenishment

Cover demand until the next expected delivery

Risk running out of stock before your next undelivered order arrives?

Our new Cover demand until next expected delivery option makes it easier to bridge the gap and maintain stock availability without overordering.

When creating an order manually, AGR automatically calculates the quantity needed to cover demand up to the day before each item's next expected delivery, helping you keep stock flowing until your incoming orders arrive.

Improved visibility of undelivered orders

The Order From field on undelivered orders is now mapped across all standard connectors and their custom versions, giving you more complete order information in AGR.

📅 Planning is faster and more collaborative

Add comments directly to your plans

Make planning more collaborative and keep important decisions documented with cell comments in Sales Plans and the Item Card's Plans tab.

Simply right-click any editable cell to add a comment, whether you're explaining a forecast adjustment, documenting a planning decision, or sharing important context with your team.

  • Keep context where it matters: Add comments directly to individual planning cells.

  • Spot comments instantly: Cells containing comments are clearly marked.

  • Track the conversation: Hover over a cell to view its comment history.

  • Maintain transparency: All comments are logged, providing a history of planning discussions and decisions.

No more losing the reasoning behind your plans. Keep it visible and accessible right where the planning happens.

Faster, more responsive Sales Plans

We've improved the performance of Sales Plans, making them faster to load and more responsive when you work with your demand plans.

Item Card

Easier chart period selection on the Item Card

Adjusting the time period on your Item Card charts is now quicker and more intuitive. You can select months, weeks, or days directly from the chart controls, and increase or decrease the historical and forecast periods without opening a separate menu.

This makes it easier to explore demand patterns and switch between short-term and long-term perspectives.

AI Sales history - Exclude similar items

After applying AI Sales History, you can now review and adjust the list of similar items used to generate the sales history.

Click the cogwheel (Settings) icon to view the list of selected similar items. Uncheck any items you don't want included in the AI Sales History calculation.

📊 Channels

New Item card tab - Channels

Get a clearer picture of your channel demand with the new Channels tab on the Item Card.

You can now explore an item's sales, forecast, and plans broken down by customer channel, helping you understand how different channels contribute to overall demand. Whether you're managing retail, wholesale, e-commerce, or other customer channels, this gives you greater visibility into demand patterns and supports more informed planning decisions.

The Channels tab is available for environments where Channels have been configured.

Easier navigation between Channels and Customers

We've also made it easier to explore the relationship between your customer channels and the customers behind them.

  • From Customers: Click a channel to open the Channels page, automatically filtered to that channel.

  • From Channels: Click the No. of Customers value to see which customers belong to that channel.

Move seamlessly between channel performance and customer details without manually applying filters.

🤖 AI Connector (MCP) – More inventory data at your fingertips

We've been steadily expanding what your connected AI assistants can see through the AGR AI Connector. Here's what's new.

Archived orders

The AGR AI Connector now supports archived orders, giving you access to more historical purchasing information directly through your connected AI tools. You can explore past orders, review historical purchasing activity, and ask questions about archived order data without having to navigate through AGR.

Connected items

The new get_connected_items tool gives your AI assistant visibility into your Connected Items setup, including how new items inherit sales history and, where configured, stock information from existing items.

This helps your AI assistant better understand item transitions and the data behind demand planning for replacement items.

Distribution demand

The new get_item_distribution_flows tool provides insights into historical stock transfers and future distribution demand across locations.

Your AI assistant can now help you explore which stores or locations are driving demand for items held at your warehouse, giving you a clearer picture of your distribution network.

Together, these additions bring more of your AGR data into your AI-powered analysis, helping you move from asking questions to making better-informed inventory decisions, while AGR remains your central inventory management and planning platform.

🔗 Public API – Data that follows your configuration

New Sales Plan endpoint

We've expanded the AGR Public API with a new Sales Plan endpoint under the Forecast section. It lets you retrieve the Sales Plan data series in a single API call, making it easier to access and integrate your planned demand data with other systems and reporting tools.

Demand endpoints now respect your distribution demand horizon

Demand endpoints in the Public API now follow your configured Demand from Stores horizon instead of using a fixed 365-day period. This ensures that demand data retrieved through the API reflects your AGR configuration, including planning horizons that extend beyond one year.

🛠️ Fixes and Refinements

We've also addressed several reported issues to improve reliability, accuracy, and usability across AGR.

Planning and Forecasting

  • Plans: The Stock History data series, already available on the Item Card's Plans tab, is now also available in the Plans module.

Orders and Replenishment

  • Scheduled Orders: For orders using coverage days, the order period displayed above the Order Info chart now matches the Result Breakdown.

  • Order Views: Grouping settings, such as grouping by Order ID, are now preserved when saving a view.
